Amy Goh
Beloved Birth Program Manager
Amy Goh (she/her) is a 엄마, midwife, and scholar committed to advancing equity in birth center, midwifery and perinatal care. She earned her PhD in 2024, where her research examined digital health equity in pregnancy. With over a decade of experience as a midwife, Amy has practiced in diverse settings ranging from an urban birth center to large academic medical institutions and also has experience in the femtech industry. She is a Fellow of the American College of Nurse-Midwives, serves on the Board of Directors for the American Association of Birth Centers and as a Commissioner on the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Asian American and Pacific Islander Commission. Before her midwifery career, Amy worked internationally to address the intersections of health, rights, and policy. A former Peace Corps Volunteer in Cape Verde, she completed an MPhil in International Development, focusing on the socio-political dimensions of maternal mortality in Brazil. Her research and policy interests include birth center utilization among Asian American communities, midwifery workforce development, data disaggregation, respectful maternity care, and digital health innovation.
